Ribering selected for the Horizon Europe Consolid8 Social Innovation Ecosystem Accelerator
Ribering is one of the 13 ambitious social innovation ecosystems out of 140 applicants from all over Europe that have been selected to join the Consolid8 Social Innovation Ecosystem Accelerator, a program receiving financial support from the European Union as part of the Horizon Europe project ‘Consolidating deep & inclusive social innovation ecosystems’.
The program is run by a consortium of expert partners comprising DEEP Ecosystems, KOΛEKTIVA for social innovation and culture, fonduri-structurale.ro, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, YourY Network | Social Entrepreneurs, and Center Noordung.
The chosen initiatives will actively engage ecosystem stakeholders and foster collaborations among strategic allies with a shared social innovation vision. Here’s a glimpse into the future they are shaping:
- Health Tech Lab led by Ivana Kostić, Ph.D. promotes health, med, and biotech innovations in Serbia and beyond.
- NEWDOOR Social Innovation Platform led by Diana Pershtein-Lapkis empowers social entrepreneurs and change-makers in Latvia.
- VIRIDIS – Green-Tech Investment AG by Josef Z. Koehl and his team build a collaborative ecosystem to support Green-tech innovators in Munich, Germany.
- eEco.ro by Teodora Ghenciu promotes the adoption of more sustainable business models and lifestyles in Romania.
- Sprint Innovation Hub by Poduzetnički centar Krapinsko-zagorske županije represented by Miroslav Macan and his team accelerates healthcare innovation in Central Croatia.
- The 351 Portuguese Startup Association represented by Elisa Tarzia builds a dynamic tech hub in Northern Portugal.
- The Global Shapers Community Luxembourg City Hub represented by Hanna Welter and Silvia Chilet bolsters the social entrepreneurship ecosystem of Luxembourg.
- Impact Hub Milano‘s team around Marco Nannini and Stefania Quaini take their Women Acceleration Program to the next level in Italy and beyond.
- Entrepreneurs Without Borders led by Donnie SC Lygonis supports the international build-up of local Impact Chapters, based on its successful model pioneered in Stockholm, Sweden.
- The Second Derivative by Dana Pavlychko builds an ecosystem for impact investors, philanthropists, and impact-oriented businesses in Ukraine.
- Visions2Ventures Venture Studio by Changemakers Lab, led by Vasili Sofiadellis and based on Lesvos, Greece, empowers social tech entrepreneurs, with a focus on internationalization of African tech startups working on education, healthcare, and financial inclusion.
- Puglia Women Lead by Gaia Costantino, Sonia Elicio, Gloria Elicio, Lara d’Argento, and Sabrina Fiorentino empowers young female minds with STEAM and entrepreneurship education in the Apulia Region of Italy.
- Ribering – Eventos con impacto en la Ribera del Duero by Jesus Iglesias Saugar, Ana Bartolomé, Cristina Ferrer, María Pascual, Raúl Antón and more, fosters social innovation & entrepreneurship, and promotes Nature-Based Solutions in the Ribera del Duero Region of Spain.
